Essential Information On Bamboo, Before You Buy

Hello Everybody,
In this months post, I'm talking about Bamboo !  This amazing product is being requested more frequently due to it's "Green" classification, great durability, it's ability to accept an assortment of traditional and modern stains and it's competitive price.

Bamboo is an abundant wood that is not in decline and doesn't negatively impact the environment, doesn't create greenhouse gases and is easy to harvest and produce.  Unlike the harvesteing of stands of old-growth, medium growth or newer growth American wood species, bamboo is considered a "hard wood" and hold up very well to abuse, heavy loads and repeat re-finishing.

Don't be confused with the "tropical" look, of old bamboo.  We can finish these with a variety of penetrating oils, stains and sealers and give it a contemporary or traditional finish that will resemble any popular American wood...alder, birch, walnut, cherry.  Come by and see a sample for yourself.
